App Ideas to Solve Problems

Have you ever stopped to think about how many apps are available on your smartphone? More than two million, if we include the most popular ones! If that sounds like a lot, it’s because it is. But do all these apps solve the problems we all face? Or are they just another example of app developers trying to take advantage of us? To answer these questions, let’s take a look at some of the most common problems we all face today and see what kind of apps developers have created to solve them. In no particular order

Apps for your social media addiction

One app that I found is called Flipd. It lets you know when your phone has been idle for 15 minutes, so if you want to take a break from the screen, you don't have to worry about forgetting about it. Another helpful app is StayFocusd. This helps keep people from getting distracted by other apps while they're trying to work. A third app to try is Pomodoro App - it does what its name implies and forces you to focus on one task for 25 minutes before giving you a five-minute break. There are many more time management apps out there, but these three are just some of my favorites!

Apps to make you more productive

Download these apps to manage your work and make life a little easier:

- Google Calendar: Keep track of what you need to do, when you need to do it, and how much time you have until it's due. Plan out your entire week with color-coded events. If a reminder pops up 10 minutes before an event starts. This app will send a notification for help in getting there on time.

Apps to make connecting with others easier

Life can be pretty hectic and sometimes it can be difficult to maintain a healthy balance. There are tons of apps on the market that are designed specifically for this purpose by offering tools that help people develop social skills, meet new people, stay fit, manage their stress levels, and plenty more. The first app mentioned is Meetup which is an app that helps connect with others who share similar interests in real life through group events. Next is Tribe - A Daily Journal App which aims to encourage accountability and mindfulness through personal journaling. The third one is Happier which offers a series of activities for improving mental health like gratitude exercises or meditation sessions, as well as one-on-one chats with therapists online or over video chat.

Apps for tracking your goals and progress

It's easy to get lost in the day-to-day of your life. But setting goals can help you reach for the stars. You don't have to limit yourself or set impossible tasks, either; realistic and achievable goals are best. If you want something a little less serious, there are apps for that too! Here are just a few:

1) Track n Tag - Ever lose your keys? Tired of searching high and low for them? Track 'n Tag is an app that helps you locate your most precious belongings with Bluetooth technology.

2) Hello Wallet - Dealing with more than one credit card? Hello, Wallet is a budgeting app that lets you store all of your cards digitally on one screen.

3) Fit For A King (or Queen!) - Sometimes we work so hard we forget to take care of ourselves.

Apps you didn’t know existed

Launched in 2016, Wipster is an app that allows creatives and designers to upload their work and send it for review. There are also templates for forms, contracts, briefs, logo design, and more. It is the perfect place for businesses that want to create an online portfolio but need help with all the work involved. The app has been praised by both clients and users alike for being a simple and effective way of streamlining work between creatives and clients.
